Catherine McCurry is a Brooklyn based creative technologist, artist, and writer. Her work spans multiple media including theater, film, sound, software, and installation. She graduated from MIT, where she studied Physics and Music, was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in Multimedia Performance at the Berlin University of the Arts, and received an MPS from NYU in the Interactive Telecommunications Program. She has created interactive installations that have been exhibited at Art Basel Miami, the TED Conferences, Moogfest, and the Sónar Music Festival. As a media designer and performer, Catherine has shown work at The Public Theater, Sundance New Frontier Showcase, Tribeca Immersive, The Kitchen, and the National Theater of Hungary. She has also worked as a creative technologist and writer at Google, Wieden+Kennedy, and Droga5 making experiences and films that have been recognized by the Project Isaac Awards, the Art Directors Club and the D&AD.
